Moto Edge 2022 Design Renders

Moto Edge 2022 is expected to launch soon. The smartphone is codenamed Dubai+ and should arrive soon in some international markets. The device could debut in Q3 of 2022. While we wait for the official launch date, the design renders reveal some key details. The Edge 2022 has a hole-punch cutout at the top centre of the display. It is expected to sport a 6.5-inch pOLED display with a Full HD+ resolution and a 144Hz refresh rate. The hole-punch cutout will house a 32MP front camera. The Edge 2022 is said to offer stylus support as well.

The Edge 2022 will also sport a triple-camera setup on the back. The text on the camera module confirms that the phone will have a 50MP main camera sensor. It will have support for optical image stabilisation (OIS) as well. The LED flash module and the microphone are also in the camera module. According to the report, the Edge 2022 will have a 13MP ultrawide camera and a 2MP macro shooter.

The rear panel is curved and will launch in multiple colours.  Motorola is placing the volume and power buttons on the right edge of the phone. The bottom edge houses the speaker grille, a USB Type-C port and the SIM tray. The phone could also feature an in-display fingerprint scanner.

The phone will draw power from a MediaTek chipset. A recent Geekbench listing revealed that the phone will feature a 6nm Dimensity 1050 SoC. It will be paired with 8GB of RAM at least and run Android 12 out of the box. The phone will also pack a 6000 mAh battery. There is no word on the fast charging details at the moment.
