
Motorola, last week, launched a couple of new smartphones under the Edge 30 series – the Moto Edge 30 Ultra and the Moto Edge 30 Fusion in the Indian market. The latest Moto Edge 30 series smartphones will be available for purchase for the first time starting midnight, today in the country. The Moto Edge 30 Ultra is the first smartphone to launch with a 200MP camera in India. The smartphone is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor.

The Moto Edge 30 Ultra and the Edge 30 Fusion will be available for purchase starting midnight, today exclusively via Flipkart. As a launch offer, Motorola is offering a Rs 3,000 instant discount with ICICI Bank and Axis Bank card transactions.
Moto Edge 30 Ultra and Moto Edge 30 Fusion: Price in India
The Moto Edge 30 Ultra comes in an 8GB + 128GB configuration and is priced at Rs 59,999. However, during the Flipkart Big Billion Days sale, it will be available for purchase at just Rs 54,999.
The Moto Edge 30 Fusion also retails in 8GB + 128GB configuration and costs Rs 42,999. As a launch offer, it can be grabbed at a price of Rs 39,999.
Moto Edge 30 Ultra: Specifications and Features
The Edge 30 Ultra flaunts a 6.67-inch Full HD+ pOLED display panel with 394ppi pixel density, a 144Hz refresh rate, curved panel, 1250nits peak brightness, up to 576Hz touch sampling rate, and HDR10+. The display panel features Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection and houses an in-display fingerprint scanner.
The Edge 30 Ultra sports an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor which comes with an integrated Adreno 730 GPU. It packs 8GB LPDDR5 RAM and 128GB UFS 3.1 storage. The device boots MyUX, based on Android 12. Motorola has also promised three years of Android updates and four years of security patch updates for the flagship handset.
In terms of optics, the Edge 30 Ultra sports a triple-rear camera setup that includes a 200MP Samsung ISOCELL HP1 sensor with OIS support, a 50MP ultra-wide-angle lens with 117º field of view, and a 12MP Sony IMX663 telephoto lens with 2x optical zoom. It offers a 60MP shooter for video calls and selfies.
The Edge 30 Ultra comes equipped with a 4610mAh battery unit and 125W fast charging support. It also offers 50W wireless charging along with 10W reverse wireless charging. The smartphone features a USB 3.1 Type-C port for charging and data transfers. It offers a stereo speaker setup with Dolby Atmos audio but lacks 3.5mm audio jack. It is also IP52 rated which makes it dust and splash-resistant.

The Edge 30 Fusion features a 6.55-inch Full HD+ OLED display panel with a 402ppi pixel density, a 144Hz refresh rate, 360Hz touch sampling rate, HDR10+, and Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection. The display panel also makes room for an in-display fingerprint scanner and a punch hole notch.
Powering the Edge 30 Fusion is an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 888+ processor that comes with an integrated Adreno 660 GPU. It comes paired with 128GB UFS 3.1 storage and 8GB LPDDR5 RAM. The device boots Android 12 out of the box. Motorola says that the Edge 30 Fusion will get two Android version updates and three years of Android security patch updates.

For photography, the Edge 30 Fusion offers a 50MP rear shooter with optical image stabilization and LED flash. It gets accompanied by a 13MP ultra-wide-angle lens and a 2MP depth sensor. For selfies and video calls, it relies on a 32MP front shooter.
The Edge 30 Fusion is backed by a 4400mAh battery unit and 68W fast charging support. It makes use of a USB 3.1 Type-C port for charging and data transfers. Similar to the Ultra variant, the Edge 30 Fusion also features IP52 rating and packs stereo speaker setup with Dolby Atmos audio.
The Edge 30 Fusion comes in Cosmic Grey and Solar Gold colour options. It measures 158.48 × 71.99 × 7.45mm and weighs 175grams. In terms of connectivity, it offers the same features as the Edge 30 Ultra.
