After launching the Moto Edge+ (2023) in the US and Canadian markets, Motorola has now launched the Moto Edge 40 smartphone in the European market. The Moto Edge 40 falls in affordable flagship category and is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 8020 processor. The smartphone offers a curved pOLED display that has a 144Hz refresh rate.

The Moto Edge 40 comes in an 8GB + 256GB configuration and is priced at €599.99 (approx Rs 54,100). It will soon be available for purchase in Europe.

Moto Edge 40: Specifications and Features
The Moto Edge 40 flaunts a 144Hz pOLED display with a Full HD+ (2400 × 1080 pixel) resolution and 1200 nits peak brightness. It is an 8-bit display that measures 6.55 inches diagonally. The smartphone offers an in-display fingerprint scanner on the security front.
Under the hood, the latest Edge series smartphone packs a MediaTek Dimensity 8020 processor. It is an octa-core processor that comes paired with Mali G77 GPU. The handset packs 8GB LPDDR4X RAM and 256GB UFS 3.1 storage. It comes pre-loaded with Android 13.
The Moto Edge 40 sports a dual camera setup on the rear. The primary shooter on the Edge series device is a 50MP camera with OIS support and an f/1.4 aperture. It gets accompanied by a 13MP ultra-wide-angle lens that also takes care of the macro shots. The handset features a 32MP front shooter.
