Motorola has expanded its G-series with the launch of the Moto G100 smartphone with flagship-grade specifications. The handset goes live in the European and Latin American market, the Moto G100 is a rebranded variant of the Motorola Edge S which is already launched in China at the beginning of this year. The highlighted features of the smartphone are a 90Hz refresh rate display, Qualcomm Snapdragon chipset, fast charging support, and a lot more. Moto G100 Price
The Moto G100 is launched in selected Latin America and European markets with a starting price of EUR 499.99 (approx Rs 42,700). The smartphone is available for sale in Iridescent Sky, Iridescent Ocean, and Slate Grey colour shades. The company is yet to reveal anything about the launch of the Moto G100 in other markets.
Moto G100 Specifications
The Moto G100 comes with a 6.7-inch Full HD+ display with a 90Hz refresh rate and HDR10 support. It also features a dual punch-hole cutout design for a selfie camera setup. Under the hood, the handset is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 processor, clubbed with 8GB RAM and 128GB onboard storage. Users can also expand the storage via a microSD card.
As far as cameras are concerned, the Moto G100 features a quad-camera setup placed at the top-left corner of the rear panel. The camera module consists of a 64-megapixel primary sensor + 2-megapixel depth sensor + 16-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens and a ToF sensor along with an LED flash. Upfront, the smartphone houses a dual punch-hole camera with the combination of a 16-megapixel primary sensor and an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-dual angle lens for selfies and video calls.
The handset is fuelled by a massive 5,000mAh battery with 20W fast charging support. It runs on the Android 11 operating system out-of-the-box. The Moto G100 also houses a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, a dedicated Google Assistant button, and a 3.5mm audio jack.
