Motorola has launched new budget smartphones. The company has unveiled the Moto G23 and Moto G13 globally. The two Motorola smartphones were a rumour mill favourite for a short while right before their launch. Both phones are fairly identical in terms of display, performance and cameras. The G23 is also being offered in two storage options, whereas the G13 has been unveiled in a single storage configuration.
The Moto G13 and G23 have a flat frame design. The rear panel curves into the plastic body. Both devices also come with a triple-camera setup. Let’s take a look at the Moto G23, Moto G13 price, specifications and other details.
Moto G23, Moto G13 Price and Specifications
The Moto G13 has been launched with a single storage configuration. The device comes with 4GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. It is priced at EUR 179 (roughly Rs 15,900). It has been launched in Matte Charcoal, Blue Lavender and Rose Gold colours.
The G23, on the other hand, has been launched with 4GB and 8GB RAM options. The 4GB + 128GB storage option is priced at EUR 199 (roughly Rs 17,600). The pricing details of the 8GB RAM variant are under wraps. The phone has been launched in Matte Charcoal, Pearl White and Steel Blue colours.
In terms of hardware, both phones have the same display, battery capacity, rear camera setup and processor. Starting with the display, the G23 and G13 come with a 6.5-inch IPS LCD with a hole-punch cutout at the top centre. There is support for a 90Hz refresh rate and an HD+ resolution. The phones have a slightly thick chin bezel.
Under the hood, the devices pack a MediaTek Helio G85 SoC, which is one of the budget SoCs. They also come with a 5000mAh battery under the hood. One of the key differences between the G13 and G23 is that the former comes with 20W fast charging support. The G23 supports 30W fast charging.
The devices run Android 13 out of the box and have a layer of My UX on top. On the back, the G13 and G23 feature a triple-camera setup. They feature a 50MP primary camera sensor, a 5MP ultra-wide camera and a 2MP depth sensor.
The G23 has a 16MP front camera, whereas the G13 has an 8MP front camera. The devices will be available in Europe very soon, followed by Latin America and Asia.
