Motorola has confirmed to launch a new smartphone in India. The Moto G73 5G will be the company’s new mid-range offering for the Indian market. The device has been already launched in Europe. Motorola has already confirmed that the G73 5G will launch in India on March 10. The phone will be available for purchase via Flipkart, just like other Motorola smartphones. Ahead of the official launch, some key details about the upcoming Motorola phone have surfaced online.
A new leak by tipster Yogesh Brar has revealed the India price range of the G73 5G. The tipster also revealed the RAM and storage details of the G73 5G ahead of its India launch. Let’s take a look at the Motorola Moto G73 5G specifications, India price and other details ahead of its debut.
Moto G73 5G India Price, Specifications Tipped
The Motorola Moto G73 5G will launch as a new G-series smartphone soon in India. The phone is scheduled to launch on March 10 in India. Ahead of the launch, Brar has listed the specifications of the phone. He also revealed that the Moto G73 5G will be launched in India for under Rs 20,000. A separate leak by tipster GadgetsData further reveals that the phone could be priced between Rs 16,999 and Rs 17,999. The Moto G72, which was launched as a new 4G phone, was launched in India for Rs 18,999. Therefore, we suggest taking the leaked price of the G73 5G with a pinch of salt.
The G73 5G was launched earlier this year in Europe for EUR 299 (roughly Rs 26,000). It features a MediaTek Dimensity 930 SoC under the hood. The phone was launched in Europe with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. In India, the phone will launch with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage, according to Brar. The tipster also claimed that the phone’s India variant will get a dual-camera setup on the back.
The G73 5G will feature a 50MP main camera sensor and an 8MP ultra-wide camera sensor. For selfies, there will be a 16MP front camera sensor. The G73 5G’s global variant has a hole-punch cutout at the top centre of the display. The same will be the case for the Indian variant.
The microsite on Flipkart also shows the phone in Midnight Blue and Lucent White colour options. The display has a thick chin bezel, whereas the other sides have fairly narrow bezels. On the left edge of the phone is the SIM tray. The right edge houses the power and volume buttons.
The G73 5G India variant will come with support for up to 13 5G bands. It will sport a 6.5-inch IPS LCD with a Full HD+ refresh rate. The display will also refresh at 120Hz. Motorola has confirmed that the G73 5G will offer a stereo speaker setup with support for Dolby Atmos. The phone will have the latest Android 13 update as well. It will boot MyUx on top of Android.
Under the hood, the G73 5G will pack a 5000mAh battery. It will support 30W fast charging out of the box. Lastly, the phone will have an IP52 rating for water resistance.
