Motorola launched the Moto Razr 40 Ultra and Moto Razr 40 clamshell smartphones in July 2023 in India. The Razr 40 series clamshell smartphones were launched as an affordable alternative to the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip series smartphones. Now, Motorola has announced a permanent price reduction on the Razr 40 series smartphones as it faces competition from brands like Tecno, which also offering more ‘affordable’ Flip phones.

Moto Razr 40 Series Refreshed Pricing and Availability

Motorola launched the Razr 40 and Razr 40 Ultra smartphones at Rs 59,999 and Rs 89,999 for the lone variant with 8GB RAM and 256GB storage. The company has revealed that the Razr 40 and Razr 40 Ultra smartphones will receive a permanent price cut of Rs 10,000.

The permanent price cut of Rs 10,000 reduces the prices to Rs 49,999 and Rs 79,999 for the Motorola Razr 40 and Razr 40 Ultra smartphones. The Moto Days sale from the brand is live on Amazon, offering significant discounts on Moto smartphones.

The offers of the sale will be available for customers purchasing between December 18 and December 23.

The Moto Days sale on Amazon reduces the price of Moto Razr 40 and Razr 40 Ultra smartphones to Rs 44,999 and Rs 72,999, respectively. The price reduction of the Razr 40 series smartphones helps to reclaim the affordable clamshell smartphone tag.

Motorola also offers an instant discount of Rs 2,000 for customers purchasing through YES Bank Credit Card EMI.

Keep in mind that Motorola recently announced the launch of the Razr 40 Ultra smartphone in Glacier Blue colour options. The company is also sharing teasers the launch of the Peach Fuzz colour option for the Razr 40 Ultra. Motorola recently debuted the Peach Fuzz colour for the international markets, though the colour variant is yet to launch in India.
