Motorola introduced the Moto Edge 2022 smartphone in August last year. The device features a 6.6-inch OLED display with a Full HD+ resolution and a 144Hz refresh rate. It comes with Dimenisty 1050 SoC and has a 50MP triple-camera setup. The smartphone is priced at $599 (roughly Rs 49,500) and its available in the US. Now, it looks like Motorola is gearing up for the launch of the Edge 2022 successor soon. The render of the Edge 2022 successor, the Motorola Edge 2023 is now revealed courtesy of the folks at Pricebaba. The leaked render reveals the design of the smartphone ahead of the official launch.
Motorola Edge 2023 To Feature Dual-Camera Setup
If we have a look at the image, we can see that the Motorola Edge 2023 will feature a curved edge display. The back of the device will consist of a dual-camera setup which will be accompanied by two LED flash. The blurred text beside the camera module suggests the smartphone will sport a 50MP primary camera. The right edge of the device consists of a power button and a volume keys.
Currently, the specification of the Motorola Edge 2023 is yet to be revealed. Motorola had introduced the Edge+ 2023 a few months back in Europe. The same device is available for purchase in India and China with the Moto Edge 40 Pro and the Moto X40 moniker. It is possible that the upcoming Moto Edge 2023 could debut as a tweaked version of the Edge 40. We shall get to learn more information about the handset if arrives on the benchmarking platform or some certifications.
As mentioned above, the Edge 2023 will arrive as a successor to the Edge 2022 which debuted last year. The other key specifications that the Motorola Edge 2022 offer includes a 5,000mAh battery, 30W fast charging, 15W wireless charging, 5W reverse charging, an in-display fingerprint sensor, and an IP52 rating for water and dust resistance.
