Motorola has launched a couple of Edge 30 series smartphones in India today. The company has unveiled the Motorola Edge 30 Fusion and the Motorola Edge 30 Ultra. The Ultra is the company’s flagship phone, while the Fusion is the company’s mid-range device and successor to the last year’s Edge 20 Fusion. The Edge 30 Fusion was launched globally last week along with the Edge 30 Ultra and Edge 30 Neo.
The Edge 30 Fusion comes with a flagship-grade Qualcomm SoC, the Snapdragon 888+, which was announced back in 2022. The device also comes with a 144Hz display, 50MP main camera, and 68W fast charging onboard. The Motorola Edge 30 Fusion packs everything that you’d expect from a flagship phone and more importantly, it is more affordable compared to the current gen flagship phones.

Motorola Edge 30 Fusion: Price in India and Availability
The Motorola Edge 30 Fusion comes with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. It is priced at Rs 39,999 in India. The device will go on sale for the first time on September 22nd. The phone will be available in Cosmic Grey and Solar Gold colour options.

Motorola Edge 30 Fusion: Specifications and Features
The Motorola Edge 30 Fusion sports a 6.55-inch Full HD+ curved pOLED display on the front. It is a 10-bit screen with a 144Hz refresh rate, 1100 nits brightness, and offers HDR10+ support. The front is protected by Corning gorilla glass 5. Under the hood, the phone is powered by Snapdragon 888+ 5G SoC with 13 5G bands and paired with 8GB LPDDR5 RAM and 128GB UFS 3.1 internal storage.
In terms of optics, the phone sports a triple rear camera with a 50MP (f/1.8) main camera with OIS, a secondary 13MP(f/2.2) ultra-wide angle lens, and a 2MP depth sensor. The device can record videos up to 8K @ 30fps and 4K @ 60fps. There is a 32MP selfie camera on the front with an f/2.45 aperture. Further, the device is packed with a 4400mAh battery and supports 68W TurboPower charging.
Further, the Edge 30 Fusion runs on Android 12 out of the box and is guaranteed to get Android 13 and 14 updates and also three years of security updates. The handset measures 158.48 x 71.99 x 7.45mm and weighs 175 grams.
