The phone is expected to launch as Edge X in China. We can also expect Motorola to launch the Edge 30 Ultra in India. Motorola Edge 30 Ultra TENAA
Motorola Edge 30 Ultra will launch as Moto Edge X in China. The device with the model number XT2201-2 is listed on TENAA prior to its launch. The phone sports a tall 6.67-inch display with a hole-punch cutout at the top. The AMOLED display has a Full HD+ resolution and comes with support for a 144Hz refresh rate.
Under the hood, the device is likely to draw power from a Qualcomm Snapdragon 898, aka Snapdragon 8 Gen1 chip. The Qualcomm flagship processor is expected to launch on November 30 at the Snapdragon Summit. Motorola is likely to be among the first few to launch a smartphone with the Snapdragon 8 Gen1 chip.
The performance unit will include 8GB/ 12GB of RAM with 128GB/ 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage. It will pack a 4700 mAh battery with support for 68W fast charging. Motorola’s upcoming flagship will run Android 12 with a layer of MYUI 3.0 on top.
The phone will be IP52-rated for splash resistance and feature stereo speakers. It will sport a triple-camera setup on the back. The phone will feature a 50MP primary sensor from Omnivision with OIS support. It will be accompanied by another 50MP S5KJN1 sensor, which is likely an ultrawide sensor. Lastly, there is a 2MP depth sensor. For selfies, the phone will have a 60MP front camera sensor. It will weigh 201 grams and have a thickness of 8.4mm.
