Motorola is gearing up for the launch of the Moto X40 in China. The company will launch its new premium flagship smartphone with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC, which was unveiled earlier this month. The company is also expected to close the year with the launch of a slightly low-end smartphone offering. The company has not confirmed any details about the same. Meanwhile, a new Motorola smartphone, which could be a budget smartphone offering, has been spotted on the 3C certification website.
The Motorola smartphone has also been spotted (via) on the TENAA certification website ahead of its launch. The listing on both the certification websites reveals the key specifications and features of the upcoming Motorola smartphone. Let’s take a look at the specifications and features of the upcoming budget smartphone from Motorola.
Motorola Moto XT2335-3 Launch Imminent
Motorola is expected to launch a new budget smartphone soon. The device has been spotted on the 3C and TENAA websites ahead of the launch. The listings do not confirm the name of the phone. However, based on the leaked specifications and features, it is safe to say that the device is a budget offering.
The Moto smartphone, which has the model number XT2335-3, will sport a 6.5-inch display. The device will sport an IPS LCD panel with an HD+ resolution of 720 x 1600 pixels.
The listing also reveals that the phone will draw power from an octa-core processor, which has a peak clock speed of 2.2GHz. The name of the processor, however, is unknown. It will be paired with 4GB, 6GB, 8GB and 12GB memory and 64GB, 128GB, 256GB and 512GB storage variants. The storage options seem to be unrealistic for a budget smartphone and the best we can expect it to launch in various markets would be with 8GB of RAM at max.
The device will also feature a 5000mAh battery under the hood. There is no word on the fast charging support at the moment. The TENAA listing also confirms the camera specifications of the Motorola budget smartphone. It will sport a dual-camera setup on the back. A 50MP primary camera sensor will be paired with a 2MP secondary sensor. For selfies, there will be an 8MP front camera sensor.
The listing does not reveal any other specifications or design details of the upcoming Motorola budget smartphone. Motorola too has not confirmed any details about the launch of the upcoming budget phone. We will share more details as and when available. Meanwhile, let us know what you think about the budget smartphone from Motorola, which is expected to launch soon.
