Apple is rumoured to refresh the iPad Air and iPad Pro lineups in early May. Recently, upcoming iPad models with the model numbers A2836 and A2837 acquired Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) certification. Now, we have spotted two more iPads on the BIS certification website.
New iPad Models Launch Imminent
The new iPads have been spotted with the model numbers A2898 and A2899. It is not clear if these model numbers correspond to upcoming iPad Air models or the iPad Air models. For those unaware, Apple is rumoured to launch four iPad models. The company is expected to launch the successors of the iPad Pro (11-inch) and iPad Pro (12.9-inch).
In addition to this, the Cupertino tech giant is also expected to launch the iPad Air (10.9-inch) and iPad Air (12.9-inch) models. The iPad Air (12.9-inch) will be a new addition. The iPad Pro and iPad Air 2024 lineups are expected to feature the company’s in-house M3 chipset.
Apple is rumoured to use the OLED display panels on the iPad Pro lineup. The company used microLED displays on the iPad Pro (12.9-inch) model, which was launched in 2022. The iPad Pro models are said to feature a thinner build with a redesigned camera bump. There are also rumours of the company launching a new Magic Keyboard and Apple Pencil.
