Nothing Ear (3) Launch Timeline Tipped

Nothing Ear 2
Nothing Ear (3) will reportedly launch in January 2024.

Mashable India has quoted an internal source to reveal that Nothing is gearing up to launch a new product in January 2024. While the source didn’t disclose which device it is, the report predicts that it could be the next generation TWS earbuds from the brand. Notably, the company sells Phone (1), Phone (2), Ear (1), Ear (2), and Ear (Stick) in India. Considering the brand will not launch a new Nothing Phone model ahead of the one-year launch cycle, it’s safe to assume that the next product will be the Ear (3).

The publication notes that Nothing Ear (3) will come with the same transparent design aesthetic as its predecessors Ear (1) and Ear (2). It will come with transparent earbuds with a stem design and a transparent charging case. Additionally, the report says that the Ear (3) might feature upgraded drivers for improved audio and better mics for enhanced audio quality. Furthermore, we can expect Nothing to boost the battery life and add new software features as well.

Apart from these, no other information has been revealed by the report. To recall, the Ear (2) was launched earlier this year with a new dual-chamber design and an 11.6mm dynamic driver. It offered up to 40dB personalised active noise cancellation and environment-adaptive ANC. There was a transparency mode as well along with an adaptive noise cancellation with four modes such as high, mid, low, and adaptive.

The Nothing Ear (2) flaunts a triple-microphone setup, clear voice technology for wind resistance, and a low-latency mode. The earbuds come with Bluetooth 5.3 connectivity and supports AAC, SBC, LHDC 5.0, and Hi-Res audio. Additionally, it offers Google Fast Pair and Microsoft Swift Pair for seamless connectivity with smartphones and other devices. Other features include up to four hours of playback on a single charge, up to 36 hours of battery with the charging case, Type-C, Qi wireless charging, and IP54 rating.
