OnePlus 11 5G Spotted on MIIT Certification Website; Expected to Launch Soon

OnePlus 11 is expected to launch very soon. The upcoming OnePlus flagship smartphone is expected to launch in January 2023. OnePlus is yet to announce the official launch date of the phone. Meanwhile, the OnePlus 11 is likely to have visited the MIIT certification website. The listing on the MIIT certification website reveals the model number of an upcoming OPPO smartphone, which could launch as the OnePlus 11 5G.

The listing hints at an imminent launch of the OnePlus 11 5G in China. It is also likely to launch in India and other markets around the same time. The OPPO smartphone listed on MIIT has the model number PHB110. This could be the OnePlus 11 5G. This is perhaps the first time that the phone has been spotted on a certification website.

While the MIIT listing does not reveal much about the phone, the rumour mill has worked actively to churn out more details about the phone. The recent set of leaks and rumours have revealed the design, official images and even the specifications of the upcoming OnePlus flagship smartphone.

OnePlus 11 5G: What You Must Know

According to the rumour mill, the OnePlus 11 5G will launch in two colours at least — Forest Emerald and Volcanic Black. The colours are the same as the OnePlus 10 Pro 5G, which was launched earlier this year.

Official images of the OnePlus 11 have also leaked, which revealed its rear panel design. The device is likely to come with a combination of matte, frosted and glossy materials on the back. The rear panel of the Green variant seems to have a frosted finish with the camera module sporting a glossy finish. The camera array, meanwhile, has the signature black finish. The Volcanic Black variant, on the other hand, seems to have a textured matte finish with the glossy camera module.

While we are at it, the camera module will house a triple-camera setup and an LED flash. Right in the centre of the camera array is the Hasselblad branding, highlighting the company’s collaboration with the legendary camera maker. The camera module extends into the frame, which could be made of metal to house the alert slider and the power buttons on the right edge.

OnePlus has already confirmed the launch of its upcoming flagship with a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC. Other sets of leaks include a 6.7-inch AMOLED display with a QHD+ resolution. The curved display will come with a hole-punch cutout at the top left corner for the 32MP front camera. The display will also offer support for a 120Hz refresh rate.

On the back, the phone is said to come with a new 50MP Sony IMX890 sensor, a 48MP ultra-wide angle lens and a 32MP telephoto sensor. There will be 8GB, 12GB and also a 16GB RAM variant in select markets. The phone is likely to offer up to 256GB of UFS 4.0 internal storage. OnePlus is said to pack a 5000mAh battery in the phone. It will offer 100W fast charging support. There is no word on any support for wireless charging. Lastly, the phone is likely to arrive in India with Oxygen OS 13-based OxygenOS 13. The China variant will boot ColorOS 13 out of the box.
