The company claims that the new variant of the OnePlus 11 is the first smartphone to feature a natural texture. OnePlus uses various materials with the device, including volumetric microcrystalline rock material. The new variant is a limited edition of the smartphone with a certain number of units. Let us dive into more details of the Jupiter Rock Edition of the OnePlus 11 smartphone.
What is Different in OnePlus 11 Jupiter Rock Edition from Standard Variant?
OnePlus has drawn inspiration from the personality and uniqueness of Jupiter. OnePlus 11 Jupiter Rock Edition is the first to use 3D microcrystalline rock. The company claims that each piece of this material has a unique texture similar to the surface of Jupiter. The textures are naturally distributed, and the shapes are also different. It has a light brown, yellow colour similar to the surface of Jupiter.
The texture does not attract fingerprints and is also wear-resistant and antibacterial. OnePlus has inspected each smartphone in-hand using before packing the device. The smartphone is China-exclusive for now. Interestingly the company hasn’t increased the pricing of the special edition of the device.
OnePlus has launched the smartphone in 16GB + 512GB variant at RMB 4,899 (approx. Rs 58,560). The pricing is similar to the standard OnePlus 11’s 16GB + 512GB variant in China. OnePlus India hasn’t revealed the launch of the Jupiter Rock Edition in India. We will have to wait for official information from the brand before making any conclusions.
