The OnePlus 9RT launch date is yet to be revealed, but we are already hearing the pricing of the upcoming device.

The OnePlus 9RT is rumoured to launch later this month as the successor to the OnePlus 9R which was launched as India exclusive device along with the OnePlus 9 and OnePlus 9 Pro. OnePlus has already confirmed the company will not launch the OnePlus 9T or 9T Pro in 2021. The OnePlus 9RT’s specs started surfacing on the web a few weeks back and the device is likely to come with 65W fast charging, 50MP main camera, and more. The latest news gives what might be the price tag on the OnePlus 9RT.

OnePlus 9RT price tipped

According to Digital Chat Station, a tipster from Weibo, the OnePlus 9RT will be priced between CNY 2,000 and CNY 3,000 which is approximately Rs 23,200 and Rs 34,800 respecitvely. The device is said to come in three colour options – Black, Silver, and Blue.

In India, the OnePlus 9R was launched with Rs 39,999 price tag while the OnePlus Nord 2 starts at Rs 27,999. Going by the pricing tipped on Weibo, the OnePlus 9RT could well undercut the OnePlus 9R’s pricing.

OnePlus 9RT leaked specifications

The OnePlus 9RT is said to come with Snapdragon 888 which is a jump from Snapdragon 870 on the OnePlus 9R. In addition to this, the device will support up to 12GB RAM, 65W fast charging to recharge the 4,500 mAh battery. Further, the phone is said to sport a 50MP Sony IMX766 sensor. A 16MP ultra-wide camera and a 2MP sensor is also expected to be part of the three-camera system on the back. For selfies, there will be a 16MP front-facing camera.

The tipster also reveals that the OnePlus 9RT will run on ColorOS 12 based on Android 11 out of the box which means the Indian variant and the global variant might not boot Android 12 out of the box.
