MWC 2023 is live, and OnePlus has unveiled the OnePlus 11 Concept smartphone. The concept phone’s launch comes a few weeks after the global launch of the OnePlus 11 series smartphone. OnePlus’s China President Li Jie took to Weibo to announce the upcoming smartphone OnePlus Ace 2V. The smartphone is the Dimensity variant of the recently launched OnePlus Ace 2 smartphone. Soon after the announcement went live on Weibo, a tipster revealed the launch date of the upcoming smartphone. The tipster has also announced the benefits of pre-booking the smartphone in China.
OnePlus Ace 2V Launch Date and Specifications
OnePlus China President took to Weibo that OnePlus’s third “very mild” product in 2023 will debut. The company has named it OnePlus Ace 2V. The V in the name stands for victory and winner, and the brand claims that the smartphone will be the most powerful smartphone in the segment. He adds that it will also be a winner in texture design and game experience and offer a top-notch service.
An image shared by the tipster on Weibo reveals that the smartphone will be launched in China on March 7, 2023. The image also shows that the pre-booking will start at 10:00 AM (UTC +8) on February 28.
The performance variant of Ace 2 was previously tipped to feature the MediaTek Dimensity 9000 chipset. A Chinese tipster has revealed that OnePlus will position the smartphone below the OnePlus Ace 2.
The smartphone was listed on various certification websites with model number PHP110. OnePlus will use a plastic frame and glass on the smartphone’s rear. OnePlus Ace 2V will feature a 6.74-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 2772×1240 pixels. The display has a punch-hole in the center, an ultra-narrow bezel, and supports 2160Hz high-frequency dimming & 120Hz refresh rate.
OnePlus will launch the device with up to 12 GB of LPDDR4x RAM and 512 GB of UFS 3.1 storage. The device will run on Color OS 13 based on Android 13 out of the box. On the optics side, it will feature a triple-rear camera setup with a watered-down primary camera. The setup will comprise a 64MP OmniVision OV64M primary sensor with f/1.79 aperture and OIS.
An 8MP Sony IMX355 ultra-wide-angle sensor and a 2MP GalaxyCore GC02M macro sensor will accompany the primary sensor. The punch-hole in the display will house the 16MP front camera. A large 5000 mAh battery with 80W fast charging tech will back the smartphone. The smartphone will reach international markets under the OnePlus Nord 3 branding.
