Adding to the leaks is a new one from tipster Yogesh Brar, who has revealed the launch details of the upcoming OnePlus smartphone. Brar also revealed the price range and specifications of the Nord 3. The OnePlus Nord 3 5G is expected to launch in India in the coming weeks. According to a new leak, the Nord 3 5G will launch in India in June. Brar did not reveal the exact launch date of the upcoming Nord series flagship. It will debut as a successor to the Nord 2T, which was launched last year in India. The Nord 3 is likely a rebadged version of the Ace 2V, which was launched a few months ago in China.
Brar claims that the Nord 3 5G in India will feature MediaTek Dimensity 9000 SoC, which is one of the most powerful SoCs in the market. The chipset, although a couple of generations old, can theoretically handle some gaming and routine tasks.
The India variant of the Nord 3 5G is said to launch with at least 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage, according to Brar. There will also be a 16GB RAM variant of the phone with 256GB of internal storage. OnePlus has, so far, launched its Nord series in India with a maximum of 12GB of RAM. If the leaked details are valid, the Nord 3 will be the first smartphone in the Nord series to feature 16GB of RAM.
The tipster added that the device will pack a 5,000mAh battery under the hood. It will offer 80W fast charging support out of the box. The device will also run Android 13 and have Oxygen OS 13 on top.
The Nord 3 will continue to feature the alert slider, which went missing in some of the previous generation OnePlus number series flagships. It will also feature an IR blaster, a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, etc.
On the front, there will be a 6.74-inch AMOLED display with a 1.5K resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. The screen is likely to offer 1450nits peak brightness and HDR10+ content support. The Nord 3 will feature a flat display and sport a hole-punch cutout at the top centre.
The rear panel will sport a triple-camera setup with an LED flash. Brar claims that the India variant of the Nord 3 will feature a 50MP main camera with an 8MP ultra-wide camera and a 2MP macro sensor. The Ace 2V in China has a 64MP OmniVision camera sensor. For selfies, the Nord 3 will feature a 16MP front camera sensor.
Based on the newly-surfaced details, it looks like the Nord 3 in India will get a different camera sensor and software skin compared to its Chinese variant, the Ace 2V.

Brar further added that the Nord 3 will have a starting price ranging between Rs 30,000 and Rs 32,000 in India. If true, it will be the most expensive Nord series smartphone at launch in India.
