After launching several flagship-grade devices at Cloud 11 event back in February, OnePlus is now all set to launch Nord-branded devices in the Indian market. OnePlus has announced that it is launching the OnePlus Nord CE 3 Lite 5G smartphone on April 4 in the Indian market.
Alongside the OnePlus Nord CE 3 Lite 5G, the brand will also be launching the OnePlus Nord Buds 2 at April 4 event. The teaser shared by the company on the launch micro-site reveals the design of the Nord CE 3 Lite as well as the Nord Buds 2. OnePlus reveals that the OnePlus Nord CE 3 Lite will launch in a Pastel Lime colour option. The company has revealed the design of the upcoming OnePlus Nord CE 3 Lite which reveals a triple-rear camera setup and an LED flash. The back panel of the device looks inspired by the OnePlus Ace 2V (rumoured to launch as the OnePlus Nord 3) which was recently unveiled in China. It seems like OnePlus might follow a uniform design language across the Nord series smartphones.
The teaser image shared by the company also reveals the design of the OnePlus Nord Buds 2. Going by the teaser, the OnePlus Nord Buds 2 appears to have the same design language as that of its predecessor – the Nord Buds. The launch teaser confirms that the Nord Buds 2 will come in Black and White colour option.
OnePlus Nord CE 3 Lite: Specifications and Features
The OnePlus Nord CE 3 Lite was recently spotted on the Geekbench benchmark database which revealed the presence of an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 processor. This means that, in terms of performance, the OnePlus Nord CE 3 Lite might not bring an upgrade compared to its predecessor.
The OnePlus Nord CE 3 Lite is expected to feature a 6.7-inch LCD display with a Full HD+ resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, and a centered punch-hole notch. The smartphone might offer a side-mounted fingerprint scanner on the security front.
The OnePlus Nord CE 3 Lite is rumoured to feature a 5000mAh battery unit with 65W fast charging. The smartphone will pack 8GB of RAM and will come pre-loaded with Android 13, but as usual, there will be OxygenOS skin on top. It might feature a 108MP camera setup and a 16MP front shooter. The upcoming Nord series smartphone is tipped to launch in a black colour option as well.
