OnePlus has confirmed to launch the Nord CE 2 5G in India. The company will also launch new smart TVs under the Y1S series. OnePlus has not confirmed any details of the upcoming smart TV other than teasing some of the design elements. A new leak has now revealed the details of the OnePlus TV Y1S.
According to the leaked specs shared by tipster Abhishek Yadav, OnePlus will launch four models on February 17. Two of these models will be offline-centric under the Y1S Edge series. Let’s take a look at the OnePlus TV Y1S specifications, features, and other details leaked online.
OnePlus TV Y1S Specifications
OnePlus TV Y1S will include two models in India, which will be available only via the online market. The company will also launch two offline-centric smart TVs under the Y1S Edge series.
Both models will have identical specifications. However, the pricing could vary. The smart TVs will come in 32-inch and 43-inch screen sizes. The Y1S models will have 20W speakers, whereas the Y1S will have a slightly more loud 24W speaker setup. The TVs are expected to feature Dolby Audio (with Atmos decoding).
The OnePlus smart TVs will run Android TV 11 out of the box. It will have 1GB of RAM and 8GB of internal storage. In addition to this, the smart TVs will also have dual-band WiFi. They will draw power from a MediaTek MT9216 and come with G31 MP2 for graphics.
MySmartPrice has exclusively leaked the design of the upcoming Y1S TVs. It has a bezel-less design with a slightly thick chin bezel. The remote will also come in a new design. It will have multiple hotkeys for launching streaming apps like Netflix, Prime Video, and Disney+Hotstar. Users will also be able to activate the Google Assistant button directly from the remote by pressing the button above the volume up and down key.
Pricing details of the upcoming OnePlus smart TVs remain unknown. The online model’s base 32-inch variant is expected to be priced at around Rs 20,000, whereas the 43-inch Y1S could launch for around Rs 25,000. We will share more details as and when available.
