OnePlus has introduced a new AI Eraser image editing feature for the OnePlus smartphones. The editing tool, which competes with Google’s Magic Eraser and Samsung’s Object Eraser, is backed by the in-house large language model. Here are the details.

OnePlus has used artificial intelligence and advanced algorithms to let users remove unwanted objects. The in-house large language model was trained with a vast dataset to process complex scenes.
The language model has been trained with a vast dataset, which helps the AI Eraser intelligently substitute unwanted objects and generate high-quality photo edits. The unwanted objects can be removed effortlessly from the images within the Photo Gallery.
Users can highlight the unwanted objects intended to be removed. The AI will start analysing the object once the user highlights it. The tool will also generate a replacement background that blends with the other elements present in the image. Kinder Liu, President and COO of OnePlus, said,

OnePlus adds that the brand has substantially invested in R&D to ensure the accuracy of the AI Eraser image editing feature. The brand aims to simplify the lives of its users with AI features. Earlier, the users were required to possess advanced knowledge in editing to remove unwanted objects from the background.
OnePlus AI Eraser Availability
OnePlus confirms that the feature will be available for selected OnePlus smartphones, starting in April. The update will be rolled out to select OnePluse phones. Here’s the list below.
