OPPO recently launched the OPPO A55 in India. Now it looks like the company is already planning to launch the next phone, the Oppo A56 5G, in India. As per the latest report by 91Mobiles, the Oppo A56 will offer 5G connectivity, and the phone will come in quite a few colour options. As per 91Mobiles, the Oppo A56 5G will come in three colour schemes- Blue, Purple, and Black. And now, we also have looked at some of the official renders of the phone. The phone won’t have anything other than the rectangular camera module on the back, as it comes with a side-mounted fingerprint scanner. The phone comes with a dual-camera setup on the back, and on the front, there is a waterdrop styled notch that houses the front-facing camera.
Oppo A56 5G Specifications
The upcoming Oppo A56 5G will feature a 6.52-inch HD+ LCD with a waterdrop notch at the top, housing the front-facing camera. As mentioned earlier, the phone offers a side-mounted fingerprint scanner. The phone will be powered by MediaTek’s Dimensity 700 chipset, coupled with 4GB or 6GB of RAM. However, both variants will come with 128GB onboard UFS 2.1 storage, along with the option to expand the storage via a microSD card.
In terms of camera, the phone will offer a dual-rear camera setup at the back. The camera module consists of a 13-megapixel primary camera alongside a 2-megapixel depth sensor for portrait shots. On the front, there is an 8-megapixel camera for selfies and video calls.
The smartphone will run ColorOS 11.1 out of the box, based on Android 11. The phone will pack a massive 5,000mAh battery with 10W charging. As the name itself suggests, the phone will offer 5G, but alongside that connectivity options like 4G with VoLTE, dual-band Wi-Fi and USB-C with support for OTG are also confirmed. Though, till now, there is no information regarding the date of launch, we hope that more details regarding the phone will emerge as the launch date draws near. Also, we have yet to hear anything about the pricing, so that we will be keeping an eye on that.
