Oppo has launched a new A-series handset dubbed Oppo A96 5G in China. The successor to the Oppo A95 5G comes with an OLED display, and a 5G enabled Qualcomm Snapdragon processor. The handset offers a 4,500mAh battery and a dual-rear camera setup. Let us take a closer look at Oppo A96 5G price, features and specifications.

Oppo A96 5G Price

The A96 5G comes only in one storage-memory configuration – 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. It is priced at RMB 1,999 which translates to around Rs. 23,430. The handset is available for purchase in China. Oppo is yet to reveal the global availability of the handset.

Oppo A96 5G Specifications and Features

The A96 5G flaunts a 6.43-inch Full HD+ OLED display with 2400 × 1080 pixel resolution, and 10,00,000:1 contrast ratio. It is a standard 60Hz refresh rate panel that comes with a 180Hz sampling rate. The display makes room for an optical in-display fingerprint scanner. There is a punch-hole notch on the top left corner of the display that houses the front selfie shooter.

Powering the handset is an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 processor which is built on a 6nm fabrication process. For the graphics, the handset relies on an integrated Adreno 619 GPU. It offers up to 13GB of memory including 5GB of virtual RAM. The smartphone comes preloaded with ColorOS 12.

Talking about the cameras, the A96 5G offers a dual-rear camera setup with an LED flash. The primary shooter on the handset is a 48MP resolution sensor which gets coupled with a 2MP portrait sensor. For selfies and video calls, the handset offers a 16MP shooter at the front.

The A96 5G is equipped with a 4,500mAh battery unit and 33W fast-charging support. The handset also has a USB Type-C charging port and a 3.5mm audio jack. It weighs 171 grams and is about 7.49mm thick. It retails in Peach, Black, and Colored Glaze color variants.
