After introducing the Oppo F3 Plus selfie-centric smartphone, Oppo is now set to unveil the new Oppo F3. The company is sending out media invites for the event scheduled on May 4. Oppo’s F3 will continue the lineage of selfie-centric smartphones for the young audience in India.
Oppo F3 is the next selfie phone from Oppo’s stable and will be very similar to the recently introduced Oppo F3 Plus. We reported last month that the F3 may arrive with a 5.5-inch Super AMOLED display and sport HD resolution.
Under the hood, Oppo F3 is rumoured to house the Qualcomm Snapdragon 653 chipset coupled with 4GB of RAM. This phone will offer 32GB storage and will boot Color OS based on Android 7.0 Nougat.
The event invite shows some cricket-loving caricatures inside. The highlight of the phone will be its dual front-facing selfie cameras – one would be a 16-megapixel camera while other would be an 8-megapixel wide-angle camera. This dual front camera setup might be similar to that of F3 Plus.
At the back, we suspect event the Oppo F3 will have a 16-megapixel camera with a Sony IMX series sensor and Dual Pixel autofocus.
For connectivity, the phone offers 4G LTE and dual-band Wi-Fi support. By default, it will pack a 3075 mAh battery with Oppo’s VOOC fast charging support. Oppo is launching its F3 selfie phone in Mumbai on May 4. Stay tuned for more details on this selfie phone.
