OPPO’s upcoming Find X7 series smartphones have been making rounds on the internet with various leaks. Our team at MySmartPrice recently spotted the OPPO Find X7 and OPPO Find X7 Pro smartphones on the 3C certification website. The certification confirmed the device’s fast charging capability and 5G connectivity. Digital Chat Station, a well-known tipster, divulged that OPPO will also debut the OPPO Find X7 Ultra smartphone.

The tipster later confirmed that the device will sport the same chipset as the Find X7 Pro smartphone. The device is said to offer a higher battery capacity in comparison to the former. DCS reveals through a new post on Weibo that the upcoming Find X7 Ultra will feature specifications similar to the Find X7 Pro smartphone. The only difference between both smartphones will be the satellite connectivity and slightly higher battery capacity.

OPPO Find X7 Ultra Expected Specifications

OPPO previously confirmed on Weibo that the upcoming Find X7 series smartphone will offer satellite connectivity. Many other manufacturers, including Xiaomi and Samsung, will also equip the forthcoming flagship smartphones with satellite connectivity. Digital Chat Station confirms (via) that only the OPPO Find X7 Ultra will bring satellite connectivity.

OPPO is likely to use the BeiDou satellite messaging service for the upcoming smartphone. The satellite connectivity will help users contact emergency services in out-of-coverage areas. OPPO is yet to confirm the global launch of the forthcoming Find X7 series smartphones. OPPO will equip the Find X7 Ultra smartphone with a 6.82-inch LTPO AMOLED display with 2K resolution.

The display will sport a refresh rate of 120Hz and a peak brightness of over 4000 nits. OPPO is yet to decide whether to opt for the BOE X1 oriental display or the Samsung E7 OLED panel. The panel will house a centred punch hole cutout to include the selfie snapper. Under the hood, the device will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC.

The smartphone will run on Funtouch OS 14 based on Android 14 out of the box. The upcoming Find X7 Ultra will sport a quad rear camera setup comprising an unannounced Sony IMX LYT 900 primary sensor with a 1-inch sensor size. Sony is expected to announce the sensor in the upcoming weeks ahead of the debut of the Find X7 series smartphones.

The sensor will be paired with a secondary 50MP Sony LYT 600 ultrawide lens with f/2.2 aperture. The upcoming Find X7 Ultra will sport a 50MP Sony IMX 858 periscope lens with OIS and 6x optical zoom. The setup will also comprise a 50MP Sony IMX 890 periscope lens with OIS and 2x optical zoom.

The device is tipped to house a 32MP selfie camera with f/2.0 aperture, similar to its predecessors. OPPO will equip the smartphone with a 5000mAh battery with 100W wired fast charging support. OPPO is slated to launch the Find X7 series smartphones in China ahead of the Chinese Spring Festival. The Chinese OEM might debut the smartphones in China at the end of January.
