OPPO Reno 10 Pro+ Tipped To Feature Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC

OPPO is prepping up for the launch of the OPPO Reno 9 series successor in the form of the OPPO Reno 10 lineup. Similar to the Reno 9 series, the upcoming Reno 10 lineup is expected to include three devices namely the OPPO Reno 10, Reno 10 Pro, and the Reno 10 Pro+. Last month the Reno 10 series specifications were revealed by tipster Digital Chat Station on Weibo. The tipster also disclosed the camera details of the Reno 10 Pro+. Now, in a recent development, Digital Chat Station has revealed the name of the chipset which will power the Reno 10 Pro+.

OPPO Reno 10 Pro+ Might Come with Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC

According to the Digital Chat Station, the upcoming OPPO Reno 10 Pro+ will be powered by Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC. This is the same chipset that is used in the Reno 9 Pro+, which made its debut in November 2022 in China. The past report reveals that the OPPO Reno 10 Pro+ will feature a 6.74-inch OLED display with a 1.5K resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. As for the optics purpose, the device is expected to feature a 50MP Sony IMX890 main camera with optical image stabilization (OIS). The 50MP main camera might be accompanied by a 8MP Sony IMX355 ultra-wide lens and a 64MP periscope zoom camera which could offer 2x optical zoom.


The handset is likely to pack a 4,700mAh battery which could offer 80W wired fast charging support. The device might pack up to 16GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 512GB of UFS 3.1 storage. On the software side of things, the handset is expected to run Android 13 out of the box with the company’s ColorOS 13.1-skin on top. For the security purpose, the device is expected to feature an under-display fingerprint scanner.

As far as the details of the OPPO Reno 10 vanilla model go, it might boast a 6.7-inch OLED display with a Full HD+ resolution. The device is expected to feature a 2x portrait lens on the back and a 32MP front camera sensor. The smartphone might be powered by a Snapdragon 7-series processor. On the other hand, the Reno 10 Pro might pack an octa-core Dimensity 8200 processor.

As far as the launch of the Reno 10 series goes, this upcoming lineup is expected to debut in May or June in China. As the days pass, we should get to learn more about the OPPO Reno 10 series via some certifications or benchmark listing.
