OPPO is gearing up to introduce the OPPO Reno 11 series smartphones in India. The Chinese smartphone giant will debut the OPPO Reno 11 and OPPO Reno 11 Pro smartphones in the country. The upcoming Reno 11 series smartphones in India will sport a different chipset in comparison to the Chinese variant. The micro-site of the device is already live on Flipkart, confirming the camera, display specifications and launch date.
OPPO has now confirmed the software and update cycle of the upcoming Reno 11 series smartphones ahead of its debut.
OPPO will Debut the Reno 11 Series with ColorOS 14
The upcoming smartphones will run on ColorOS 14 based on Android 14 out of the box. The Reno 11 series devices will be the first to debut with ColorOS 14 based on Android 14 out of the box. Further, the devices will be eligible for three OS upgrades.
The three OS upgrades for Reno 11 series smartphones translate into updates until Android 17. OPPO also confirmed that the phones will get four years of security updates. The ColorOS 14 has been made lighter and greener than the previous generation of ColorOS 14.
The micro-site on Flipkart confirms that OPPO will debut the smartphones on January 12 in India. The Flipkart micro-site confirms the 6.7-inch 3D curved AMOLED screen with a 120Hz refresh rate. The curved AMOLED panel supports HDR10+, 1.07 billion colours and a screen to body ratio of 93%.
OPPO will equip the smartphones with a centred punch hole cutout to house the selfie camera. OPPO is also using a 3D etching process to design the device’s rear panel. The upcoming Reno 11 series smartphones will sport a 32MP telephoto sensor with 2x optical zoom.
The smartphones will also feature a 50MP primary lens with OIS and an 8MP ultrawide lens with a field of view of 112 degrees. The Chinese smartphone giant will also equip the Pro variant with 80W SUPERVOOC fast charging.
