
OPPO Reno 9 series is expected to launch soon. The company is expected to launch three Reno 9 series phones. These include the Reno 9, Reno 9 Pro and Reno 9 Pro Plus 5G. The company is yet to confirm the OPPO Reno 9 series launch date. The devices will debut first in China, followed by other markets. While we wait for the launch date details, a new leak has revealed the design renders of the upcoming OPPO Reno smartphones. Tipper Evan Blass has revealed the design renders of the Reno 9, Reno 9 Pro and Reno 9 Pro Plus 5G.
The leaked design renders reveal that the Reno 9 series will get some design changes over the outgoing models. Let’s take a look at the OPPO Reno 9 series design renders, specifications and other details known so far.
OPPO Reno 9 Series Design Renders
The OPPO Reno 9 series is likely to launch by the end of November or early December in China. The Reno 9 will be the most affordable of the three phones. According to the leaked design renders, the Reno 9 will sport a dual-camera setup on the back. There is no protruding camera module like the Reno 8. Instead, the phone has two large circular cutouts, next to which are the LED flash module and the dummy cutout.
The Reno 9 will sport a curved display with a hole-punch cutout at the top centre. The curved frame features the volume buttons on the left, whereas the power button is located on the right.
The Reno 9 Pro will also sport a dual-camera setup on the dual-tone back. The phone has an S22-like camera module design. It houses a dual-camera setup and an LED flash. The image reveals that the Reno 9 Pro will come with OPPO’s MariSilicon X NPU. On the front, there will be a hole-punch cutout at the top centre for the front camera. The screen is also curved on the sides.
The Reno 9 Pro+ 5G will sport a triple-camera setup on the back. It will have the same camera module designs as the S21 Ultra. The frame is also curved and houses the power button on the right edge. On the left edge are the volume keys. There is a curved screen on the front with a hole-punch cutout at the top centre.
The Reno 9 will launch in a Rose Gold colour, whereas the 9 Pro will debut in Shimmery Gold. The Reno 9 Pro+ 5G will launch in a Green colour option.
Some other details of the Reno 9 series have leaked as well. A recent leak revealed that the Reno 9 series will sport a 6.7-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display with 120Hz refresh rate support and 2160Hz PWM.
The vanilla Reno 9 will feature a Snapdragon 778G SoC, whereas the 9 Pro will feature a MediaTek Dimensity 8100 Max SoC. The Reno 9 Pro+ 5G is said to feature a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC.
The Reno 9 and 9 Pro will pack a 4500mAh battery and support 67W fast charging. The 9 Pro+ 5G will pack a 4700mAh battery with support for 80W fast charging out of the box.
On the back, the 9 Pro+ 5G will feature a 50MP Sony IMX890 sensor along with an 8MP ultrawide camera and a 2MP macro sensor. The Reno 9 Pro will get the same main and ultrawide camera as the 9 Pro+ 5G. Both phones will come with OPPO’s MariSilicon X NPU for better photo and video performance.
