Oppo’s latest flagship phones Reno7 and Reno7 Pro may launch in India in January next year, not too far from now. The devices are launching in China on November 25, and we already know some of the unique features that these phones will have, like Sony’s New IMX709 Cat-Eye Lens and a unique notification light around the camera bump on the back. However, just two days ahead of the official launch of the Reno7 and Reno7 Pro in China, popular tipster Evan Blass has once again revealed quite a lot of details regarding the two devices. Just a while ago, he tweeted out a screenshot of some kind of spreadsheet containing specifications of the devices.

Oppo Reno7 Specifications

The Oppo Reno7 will be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 778G, coupled with 8GB or 12GB of RAM and 128GB or 256GB storage. The phone seems to come in three variants- 8GB+128GB, 8GB+256GB, 12GB+256GB. The phone features a 6.43-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 2400×1080 pixels with a pixel density of 409 PPI. The display on the phone can go as bright as 600 nits. The display offers a 90Hz refresh rate along with a 180Hz touch sampling. The screen-to-body ratio on the phone is 91.70%.

In terms of camera, the Reno7 comes with a triple camera setup on the back consisting of a 64-megapixel primary camera, coupled with an 8-megapixel ultra-wide lens and a 2-megapixel macro lens. The primary camera and the wide-angle camera are from Omnivision. However, there is a 32-megapixel Sony IMX709 sensor for selfies and video calls on the front.

The phone offers Bluetooth 5.2 and dual-band Wi-Fi along with 5G connectivity. It runs Android 11 out of the box with ColorOS 12 on top. The phone packs a 4500mAh battery with support for up to 65W fast charging. The phone weighs 185 grams. The specifications tipped by Evan Blass tallies with the information that was leaked earlier.

Oppo Reno7 Pro 5G Specifications

The Oppo Reno7 Pro gets a different kind of SoC. The phone is powered by MediaTek’s Dimensity 1200, coupled with 8GB or 12GB of RAM and 256GB storage. Earlier, the phone was spotted on Geekbench with the same chipset and 8GB of RAM.

The phone will come in two variants- 8GB+256GB and 12GB+256GB. The phone features a slightly bigger 6.55-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 2400×1080 pixels with a pixel density of 402 PPI. The display on the phone is brighter with a 920 nits peak brightness. The display offers a 90Hz refresh rate, a 240Hz touch sampling, and a 92.80% screen-to-body ratio.

Reno 7 Pro will come with Dimensity 1200, Reno7 SE is also expected to launch

The Reno7 Pro seems to have mainly used camera sensors from Sony. Just like the Reno7, this phone also comes with a triple camera setup on the back consisting of a 50-megapixel Sony IMX 766 primary camera, coupled with an 8-megapixel ultra-wide lens and a 2-megapixel macro lens. There is a 32-megapixel Sony IMX709 sensor for selfies and video calls on the front, just like the Reno 7.

In terms of software, connectivity options, battery capacity and charging speeds, the phone is the same as Reno7, just that the Reno7 Pro seems to use camera sensors mostly from Sony. At the same time, the Reno7 borrows most of its sensors from OmniVision. However, the phone is slightly lighter at 180 grams.

Both the phones will launch on November 25 in China and the Reno7 SE may also launch alongside the two devices. However, the specifications of the device were already leaked earlier.
