As of now, it is unclear as to what will be the name of Oppo’s first foldable device. The Chinese tipster believes that Oppo will launch the foldable phone in November. The official launch date of the device still remains to be mystery at the moment. The rumoured specifications suggest us that the Oppo foldable phone will feature an inward folding design like the Galaxy Z Fold3 and the Huawei Mate X2. The device is tipped to feature an 8-inch LTPO OLED display that might offer a 120W refresh rate. Under the hood, the handset might be powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 888 SoC. It is said that the device will boot Android 11 out of the box.
Coming to the optics department, the smartphone is supposed to feature a 50MP Sony IMX766 main camera on the back. On the front side, the handset might sport a 32MP selfie camera. As for the security purpose, the Oppo foldable phone might feature a side-mounted fingerprint sensor. The past leak suggests that the handset will pack a 4500mAh battery that might support 65W fast charging. The other details of the handset still remain under wraps.
In November, Oppo is also tipped to launch the Reno 7 series smartphone in China. The Oppo’s Reno 7 series is supposed to include three devices namely the Oppo Reno 7, Reno 7 Pro, and the Reno 7 Pro. These devices are considered to use Dimensity 920, Dimensity 1200, and Snapdragon 888 chipset respectively.
