The PlayStation Plus Game Catalog update for December 2023 is finally official, according to a Sony PlayStation blog post. It brings a total of 19 new games including the best-selling GTA title i.e. Grand Theft Auto V aka GTA V. These new games will be available to PlayStation Plus Premium and Extra subscribers from December 19. The highest tier of the subscription is known as Deluxe in India. Grand Theft Auto V (PS4 and PS5)
The biggest headline of the PlayStation Plus Game Catalog December refresh is undoubtedly GTA V. Rockstar Games’ best-selling title has sold over 190 million copies worldwide since its release in 2013. PlayStation Plus subscribers will get both GTA V and GTA Online on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5. If you have not experienced the interwoven stories of Franklin, Michael, and Trevor in the open world of Los Santos and Blaine County yet for any reason, you will be able to do so from December 19.
Even if you have played GTA V before, you can play it again as you wait for the GTA 6 launch in 2025.
MotoGP 23 (PS4 and PS5)
If you are a MotoGP fan or love motorbike racing games in general, you may want to try your hand at MotoGP 23. This is the official MotoGP video game featuring four acclaimed championship classes. The game was released in June 2023 and features officially licensed MotoGP riders, bikes, tracks, and teams. It also has online multiplayer and local split-screen mode.
Metal: Hellsinger (PS4 and PS5)
Metal: Hellsinger is a rhythmic first-person shooter video game released last year. The game plays a heavy metal score in the background as you fight various demons of hell. Your ability to cause damage will increase if you can attack in sync with the beats. The more in sync you are with the rhythm, the more intense the music will become and the more destruction you will cause.
Stranger of Paradise: Final Fantasy Origin (PS4 and PS5)
If you are a Final Fantasy series fan or love to play games of the same genre, you may want to try Stranger of Paradise. The game was released last year and you get to play as Jack who is joined by his allies Ash and Jed. The goal is to destroy Chaos by unlocking new attacks via upgrades and using new move sets based on equipped weapons to change combos.
