Poco India is all set to launch the Poco F4 5G smartphone in the Indian market. The handset is launching on June 23 in the country and other global markets. Poco has already confirmed some of the key specifications of the upcoming F-series handset. A couple of days before the launch, Poco F4 MIUI India ROM has now surfaced which reveals that the handset will ship with MIUI 13 out of the box.

The MIUI 13 for the Poco F4 will be based on the latest stable version of Google’s mobile OS – Android 12. The MIUI India ROM for the Poco F4 also reveals the codename of the device, which is munch. Let us take a look at the details.

Xiaomi Firmware Updater channel, which relies on an automated script to fetch the latest MIUI ROM for Xiaomi, Redmi, and Poco devices, brought the development into the light. The changelog also reveals that the MIUI will come with June 2022 Android security patch.

Poco F4 5G: What We Know So Far

Poco has already confirmed some of the key specifications of the upcoming Poco F4 5G. As per the teasers, the handset will be powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 processor and 67W fast charging support. The handset is confirmed to offer an E4 AMOLED display with Full HD+ resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, 360Hz touch sampling rate, 1300nits peak brightness, Dolby Vision, and HDR10+ certification.

Poco India has also confirmed that the Poco F4 will offer a triple-rear camera setup including a 64MP camera setup with OIS support. The handset will come in up to 12GB LPDDR5 RAM and up to 256GB UFS3.1 storage configuration. It will also offer stereo speaker setup with Dolby Atmos. We can expect Poco India to offer two Android version updates for the upcoming F-series handset.
