POCO M3 Pro Confirmed to Come With a 5000mAh Battery and 18W Fast Charging

The upcoming POCO M3 Pro will be the first M-series device to feature a higher refresh rate display.

POCO Global is all set to launch the POCO M3 Pro 5G smartphone on 19th May. The upcoming POCO M3 Pro will be the first POCO mid-range device to offer 5G connectivity, and higher refresh-rate display. The company has already confirmed the presence of a MediaTek Dimensity 700 SoC, and a 6.5-inch FHD+ display with a 90Hz refresh rate and DynamicSwitch feature on the device. Today, POCO shared another teaser revealing another key feature of the upcoming POCO device. The teaser reveals that the upcoming M3 Pro will feature a 5,000mAh battery with 18W fast-charging support.

POCO M3 Pro 5G: Design, Specifications and Features

Earlier this week, the leaked renders of the M3 Pro appeared on the web revealing the presence of a triple-rear camera setup. Around the rectangular camera module, the smartphone will have a black vertical island around the camera with POCO branding inside. The renders also show us a side-mounted fingerprint scanner on the device. The upcoming POCO M-series smartphone will retail in Black, Yellow, and Blue color variants.

The company has confirmed the presence of a 5,000mAh battery unit on the upcoming POCO M3 Pro. This will be supported by an 18W fast-charging over a Type-C port. The upcoming POCO M-series device is confirmed to feature a 6.5-inch FHD+ LCD display with a 90Hz refresh rate, and a dot-notch. With DynamicSwitch feature, the device can switch between 30, 50, 60, or 90Hz refresh rate automatically, depending on the content.

The POCO M3 Pro will mark the debut of the Dimensity processors on the POCO smartphone, and as a consequence, it will be a 5G-enabled device. It will sport an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 700 processor built on a 7nm fabrication process. The device is also confirmed to feature more RAM, and faster storage compared to the regular POCO M3.

POCO M3 Pro 5G was spotted on IMEI database a while back revealing that it is a rebadged Redmi Note 10 5G. We can expect it to feature a 48MP primary sensor, along with a 2MP depth, and a 2MP macro sensor. It might be equipped with an 8MP front shooter, similar to the Redmi Note 10 5G.
