The upcoming M-series smartphone for the global markets will likely not be the POCO M6 Pro 5G, which was launched few months ago in India. Instead, it could be an LTE only smartphone – the POCO M6 Pro (4G). POCO Global took to social media channels to make a formal announcement for the same. Let us take a closer look at the details.
The POCO M6 Pro’s design renders and key specifications recently surfaced on the web. The handset was also listed on leading e-commerce portal – Amazon ahead of its official debut.
The POCO M6 Pro 4G Amazon listing revealed its key specifications as well as pricing. The upcoming M-series handset has the model number 2312FPCA6G and will be a rebranded Redmi Note 13 Pro 4G handset, as per FCC listing. To those unaware, the brand is yet to announce the Redmi Note 13 Pro (4G variant).
As per FCC listing, the only difference between the Redmi and its POCO counterpart will be the rear camera sensor. The POCO M6 Pro 4G will feature a 64MP rear shooter compared to 200MP sensor on its Redmi counterpart.
The POCO M6 Pro 4G will be the company’s first LTE-only offering in the M6 series. The M6 series consists of the POCO M6 5G and the POCO M6 Pro 5G as of now.
As per tipster Paras Guglani, the POCO M6 Pro 4G will arrive in two configurations – 8GB + 256GB and 12GB + 512GB and will be priced at €229 (approx Rs 20,900) and €299 (approx Rs 27,300) respectively.
