Realme, a couple of months ago, launched the Realme 10 smartphone in Indonesia. The company has been teasing the Realme 10 India launch for the last few days. Today, the brand has announced that the Realme 10 will launch on January 9 in the country. To those unaware, the Realme 10 is the most afforfable smartphone under the Realme 10 series and will be successor of last year’s Realme 9 4G.
Ahead of Realme 10 launch, a micro-site has been uploaded to the leading e-commerce website – Flipkart. The Realme 10 launch micro-site confirms that it will be powered by a MediaTek Helio G99 processor. The device is also confirmed to feature a 90Hz refresh rate display. Realme 10 Specifications, Features, and Price
The Realme 10 features a 6.4-inch AMOLED display panel with a Full HD+ resolution and 90Hz refresh rate. The display panel supports a 4,000,000:1 contrast ratio and is covered with a layer of Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection. It also accommodates the selfie shooter inside a corner punch hole notch.
Under the hood, the Realme 10 sports an octa-core MediaTek Helio G99 processor that is manufactured on a 6nm process. The Helio G99 brings with it 2 × Cortex A76 cores (clocked at 2.2GHz), 6 × Cortex A55 cores (clocked at 2.0GHz), and an integrated Mali G57 GPU. It comes paired with up to 8GB LPDDR4X RAM and up to 256GB UFS 2.2 storage.
The Realme 10 comes equipped with a dual-rear camera setup that includes a 50MP primary shooter and a 2MP B&W sensor. For selfies and video calls, it has a 16MP front shooter. On the security front, it offers a side-mounted fingerprint scanner. It boots Realme UI 3.0, based on Android 12.
The Realme 10 is backed by a 5000mAh battery unit and 33W fast charging support. It has a Type-C port for charging and data transfers. The device also has a 3.5mm audio port with Hi-Res audio support. There is also a dedicated microSD card slot.
The Realme 10 comes in two colour options – Clash White and Rush Black. It weighs 178 grams and measures 159.9 × 73.3 × 7.95 mm. Connectivity options of the device include Dual SIM, 4G, WiFi 802.11 ac, Bluetooth 8.3, GPS, Glonass, and Beidou.
The Realme 10 is priced at Indonesian Rupiah 27,99,000 (approx Rs 14,500) for the 8GB + 128GB configuration, so we can expect it be priced around Rs 13-14,000 mark in the country.
