The Realme 12 Pro series officially launched in India as the latest numbered series flagships from the brand.
The lineup includes the Realme 12 Pro and Realme 12 Pro+ with the latter being the first numbered series devices with a telephoto camera.
The Realme 12 series will be sold via Flipkart and the Realme website in India.
The Realme 12 Pro and Realme 12 Pro+ are now official in India. The 12 Pro+ is the first numbered series smartphone from the brand to flaunt a telephoto camera. The new launches come as the successor to last year’s Realme 11 Pro series with notable upgrades, especially in the camera department. Both smartphones feature a Snapdragon processor, 5,000mAh battery, Android 14-based Realme UI 4.0, and more.

Realme 12 Pro Series Price in India, Availability
Realme has launched the 12 Pro series in two colours in India – Navigator Beige, and Submarine Blue. Realme has also launched an India-exclusive Explorer Red colour for the Realme 12 Pro+. These smartphones will be available for purchase at Realme.com and Flipkart in India.
Realme has announced that the early access sale of the Realme 12 Pro and 12 Pro+ will start today itself from 6pm on Flipkart and will go on sale in India starting February 6 at 12 noon. The Realme 12 series pre-orders will start at retail stores from January 29 with benefits worth up to Rs 5,999 and on Realme.com and Flipkart from January 30.
The base Redmi 12 Pro starts at Rs 25,999, whereas the Plus model starts retailing at Rs 29,999. Realme is offering up to Rs 2,000 benefits to ICICI Bank customers as part of the launch offer.

The biggest change is the upgraded camera system on the Realme 12 Pro series. The Realme 12 Pro+ introduces the periscope-style telephoto lens on the Realme numbered series lineup. It comes with a 50MP Sony IMX890 primary camera, a 64MP periscope lens with 6x optical zoom, and an 8MP ultrawide sensor with a 112° field of view.
Realme claims that this is the first Omnifocal camera system (16mm-142mm) in this price segment and has been customised to suit Indian conditions and skin tones. The periscope portrait lens offers Prism Tilt Super OIS 3x portrait zoom, and up to 120x Super Zoom to users. The Realme 12 Pro#+ is also the first mid-range smartphone to offer multi-focal-length optical zoom.
On the other hand, the base Realme 12 Pro comes with a 50MP Sony IMX882 primary camera. The main camera is accompanied by a Sony 700 series telephoto sensor and an 8MP ultrawide lens. Both smartphones come with a Mastershot Imaging algorithm and RAW Domain processing (a first in mid-range) that’s designed to offer great images and cinematic portraits.
For the first time, Realme has also partnered with Ollivier Saveo, a luxury watch designer, to introduce a luxury-watch-inspired design on the Realme 12 Pro and Realme 12 Pro+. Both models flaunt a camera module that resembles a luxury Tiffany watch dial with golden fluted bezels and polished sunburst dial. Additionally, these smartphones feature a premium vegan leather back panel with a silicon touch.
