Realme India confirms the launch of Realme 8 5G, 8 Pro 5G in India
Realme is gearing up for the Realme 8 series 5G launch in India. The official support account on Twitter has confirmed that the 5G variants of the two smartphones will launch soon in India.
The support account, in response to a query, confirmed that Realme will launch the 5G smartphones very soon in India. It did not reveal the exact launch date at the time of writing this.
The company is currently gearing up for the Realme C-series launch, where it will launch the C25, C21, and C20. We can expect Realme to launch the Realme 8 5G and the 8 Pro 5G in India during the second half of April 2021.
Very little is known about the 5G variants. We can expect the Realme 8 5G to come with a Dimensity 700 SoC. It was spotted on the FCC website with the model number RMX3241. The listing revealed that the phone packs a 5000 mAh battery under the hood. It will run Android 11 out of the box with Realme UI 2.0. The phone will measure at around 162.5x 74.8×8.5mm, and weigh around 185 grams.
The Pro model, on the other hand, could come with a Dimensity 800U chipset. Realme has also confirmed the launch of Realme 8i in India.
