Last week, the Realme 9i made headlines as the device was spotted on Geekbench, and a day prior to that, the device, alongside Realme 9 Pro Plus, made its appearance on Indonesia Telecom and China Quality Certification (CQC) websites. The Realme 9i also appeared on AliExpress, just a day before Christmas and by the end of 2021, it was quite obvious that the phone will launch soon. However, now the device has been officially teased and it looks like the phone will launch first in Vietnam before any other regions, including bigger markets like China and India. According to popular tipster Abhishek Yadav, the launch will take place on January 10.

The teaser of the phone reveals a bit about the design, especially the back and it is quite similar to that of the Realme GT Neo2 with the rectangular camera bump housing the three camera sensors alongside the LED flash. However, from the teaser, we still can’t know everything but we surely know that the phone will be offering a side-mounted fingerprint scanner embedded onto the power button.
