Realme C55 India Launch Set For March 21: Specifications and Expected Price

Realme’s latest C-series smartphone – the Realme C55 made its global debut earlier this month in Indonesia. The company is now gearing up to launch the Realme C55 in the Indian market. In a new development, the Realme C55 launch micro-site has gone live on the Realme India website which reveals that the handset will launch on March 21 in the Indian market.

Realme Vice President Madhav Sheth also took it to social media channels to share the Realme C55 India launch date. The launch teaser shared by the company confirms that the Realme C55 Indian variant will feature a 64MP camera setup, same the global variant. Realme C55: Specifications, Features, and Price

The Realme C55 offers a 90Hz LCD display with a Full HD+ resolution, 180Hz touch sampling rate, and 680nits peak brightness. The display panel measures 6.52 inches in size and accommodates the front shooter inside a punch-hole notch.

Powering the Realme C55 is an octa-core MediaTek Helio G88 processor which comes coupled with a Mali G52 graphics unit. The smartphone sports up to 8GB of RAM and up to 256GB of onboard storage. It comes pre-loaded with Android 13 based Realme UI 4.0. The company also allows users to expand the memory further with the virtual RAM feature that enables up to 8GB extra RAM.

The Realme C55 packs a dual-rear camera setup that includes a 64MP primary camera. The high-resolution sensor on Realme’s latest C-series handset gets accompanied by a 2MP depth sensor and an LED flash. The smartphone offers an 8MP front shooter for video calls and selfies.

The Realme C55 comes equipped with a 5000mAh battery and 33W SuperVOOC fast charging support. It offers a USB Type-C port for charging and data transfers. The handset also features a side-mounted fingerprint scanner. The Realme C55 comes in Sunshower and Rainy Night colour options. It also features a dedicated microSD card slot. The handset weighs 189.5 grams and is around 7.89mm thick. It also has a 3.5mm audio jack.

The Realme C55 is priced at Rp 2,499,000 (approx Rs 13,300) for the 6GB + 128GB configuration. The handset also comes in an 8GB + 256GB configuration which is priced at Rp 2,999,000 (approx Rs 16,000). We can expect the Realme C55 to be a bit cheaper compared to Indonesia.
