Realme is all set to unveil the Realme GT 5G smartphone on March 4th in China. The company also confirmed that on the same day the device will be making its global debut. The smartphone, which is internally codenamed as Realme Race, has been in the news for the last couple of days. It went through TENAA certification authority and was even spotted on the AnTuTu benchmark, lately. Well, today Realme has released a poster of this upcoming smartphone, which reveals the design of the device in full glory.
Realme GT 5G Poster Released
If we look at the poster released by Realme, we can see that the Realme GT 5G will feature a triple rear-facing camera with a dual-tone LED flash. The smartphone will even have a 3.5mm audio jack at the bottom as seen in the image. The handset appears to have a power button on the right side, while the volume up and down buttons are located on the left. To recap of the specs of the Realme GT 5G, it is expected to sport a 6.8-inch display with a resolution of 1440×3200 pixels. The device is even confirmed to offer a 120Hz refresh rate.
Powering the smartphone will be Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 888 5G chipset. The smartphone is said to pack 12GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. On the software front, the device is expected to run Android 11 out of the box with Realme 2.0 UI skin.
As far as the imaging aspect of the Realme GT 5G goes, it has been confirmed to sport a 64MP primary camera at the back if we have a closer look at the image. For selfies and video-calling, the device will have a single camera at the front, considering the phone is expected to have a hole-punch cutout display. The whole package is supposed to be powered by a 5000mAh battery, which might have 65W fast-charging support.
In a piece of related news, we also saw that Realme Race (now Realme GT 5G) has already cleared BIS certification, implying that the device might launch in India in the future. Now that Realme has already confirmed the use of Snapdragon 888 SoC, 120Hz display, triple-rear facing cameras, and the 3.5mm audio jack support for the Realme GT 5G, we can expect the company to reveal a few more details until the launch takes place.
