Realme has launched a new premium smartphone in India. The GT Neo 2 is the company’s third GT-series smartphone in India after the GT 5G and GT Master Edition. The latest Realme GT smartphone comes with a Snapdragon 870 SoC, which sits below the top-of-the-line Snapdragon 888 SoC. The same processor is found on the likes of the iQOO 7, Mi 11X and OnePlus 9R. Realme has also included a massive battery in the GT Neo 2 along with support for fast charging. Realme GT Neo 2 price in India
Realme GT Neo 2 launched in India comes in two storage configurations. The base 8GB + 128GB storage option is priced at Rs 31,999. There is also a 12GB + 256GB storage option, priced at Rs 35,999. The phone comes in three colours – Neo Blue, Neo Green and Neo Black.
During the Realme Festive Days sale, the device will be available at a discounted price of Rs 24,999 and Rs 28,999, respectively.
The device goes on sale starting October 17 via Realme India’s online and offline store, Flipkart, etc. It can be pre-ordered between October 13 and 16 and customers who do so will get a Realme Watch 2 Pro free with the GT Neo 2.
Specs and features
The GT Neo 2 comes with a 6.62-inch E4 AMOLED display. The Full HD+ screen is flat and has 120Hz refresh rate support. It also comes with a 1300 nits peak brightness, HDR10+ certification and a 600Hz touch sampling rate.
It packs a 5000 mAh battery under the hood with 65W fast charging support. It has a Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 SoC with up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage. The device also gets 7GB of extended RAM support. For thermal management, the phone has a stainless steel vapour cooling plus system, which has a diamond gel material inside.
On the back is a 64MP triple-camera setup. It comes with a 64MP primary camera, an 8MP 119-degree ultrawide camera and a 2MP macro camera sensor. For selfies and video calls, the phone has a 16MP front camera sensor.
The phone runs Android 11-based Realme UI 2.0 out of the box. It has dual speakers with Hi-Res audio and an in-display fingerprint scanner.
