Realme GT Neo2 India launch tipped

Realme GT Neo2 India launch has been tipped. The new premium GT series smartphone from Realme will launch in China on September 22. Ahead of the launch, the 91Mobiles report, citing tipster Mukul Sharma, claims that Realme will launch the device with the same moniker in India. This is unlike the original GT Neo, which launched in India as X7 Max. Since the company has discontinued its X-series in India, it will therefore launch the phone under the GT series.

The tipster further notes that the device will launch in India in two storage options. The base variant will have 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. There is also a 12GB + 256GB storage option tipped to launch in India. It will launch in Neo Blue and Neo Green colour options.

Other details of the phone have leaked or have been confirmed in the past. It is likely to sport a 6.62-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. The phone will pack a 5000 mah battery with 65W fast charging. Realme claims that the device will charge completely in 36 minutes.

The 64MP triple-camera setup on the back is expected to feature an 8MP ultrawide lens and a 2MP macro sensor. There will be a 16MP front camera for selfies and video calls. As mentioned above, the phone will draw power from a Snapdragon 870 SoC.

Realme India is yet to confirm the GT Neo2’s launch date at the moment.
