Realme launched the Narzo 50 series late last year in India. The company launched two devices under its budget Narzo series, which includes the Narzo 50A and the Narzo 50i. It looks like another smartphone under the Narzo 50 series will launch soon in India. The Narzo 50A Prime’s listing was spotted on the Realme India website by tipster Mukul Sharma.

The listing does not reveal any specifications of the device but hints at an imminent launch. A 91Mobiles report further states that the device was spotted on the EEC certification website in November 2021.

As we mentioned above, the Realme Narzo 50A Prime listing does not reveal any key specifications but hints at an imminent launch. There is no official word from the brand at the moment but we can expect the phone to launch in January or February 2022.

The phone is expected to share many specs with the Narzo 50A. It could have an IPS LCD, a triple-camera setup, and a beefy battery. Let’s take a look at the Realme Narzo 50A specifications.

The Narzo 50A features a 6.5-inch HD+ IPS LCD with a water-drop notch on top for the front camera. The phone has an 88.7 percent screen-to-body ratio and a display with a peak brightness of 570 nits.

On the back, there is a 50MP main camera, a 2MP macro camera, and a 2MP depth sensor. For selfies, the phone has an 8MP front camera housed inside the waterdrop notch. The phone packs a 6000 mAh battery under the hood. It comes with support for 18W fast charging support. With that big battery, the phone weighs 207 grams and measures 164.5×75.9×9.5mm.

Under the hood, there is a MediaTek Helio G88 chipset and a Mali-G52 for graphics. It is paired with 4GB of RAM and up to 128GB of internal storage. As expected from a budget smartphone, users can expand the memory via a microSD card slot.

The phone runs Android 11 out of the box. It has a layer of Realme UI 2.0 on top of Android. For biometric authentication, the phone has a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner and face unlock. It comes with connectivity features like 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, and a USB Type-C port.
