Realme has launched its latest budget-segment smartphone called the Realme V3 5G in home country China. The company is promoting the smartphone as the cheapest 5G handset from the brand. The newly launched Realme V3 5G comes with latest MediaTek chipset, Android 10, triple-rear camera setup, 5,000mAh battery and more. Here’s a closer look at the specifications, features, and price of the smartphone.

Realme V3 5G Price

Realme V3 5G price in China starts at RMB 999 (approx INR 10,700) for the base with 6GB RAM and 64GB storage. The 6GB RAM + 128GB ROM model comes with a price tag of RMB 1,399 (approx INR 15,000) and the top-end variant with 8GB RAM and 128GB onboard storage is priced at RMB 1,599 (approx INR 17,100). The Realme V3 5G will be up for grabs from September 17th in Star Sea Blue and Moonlight Silver colour options. The company is yet to comment on the global availability of the smartphone.

Realme V3 5G Specifications and Features

The Realme V3 5G flaunts a 6.5-inch HD+ (1,600 X 720 pixels) display with a waterdrop notch cutout. It features a 20:9 aspect ratio display with 88.7 percent screen-to-body ratio. The waterdrop notch makes room for an 8-megapixel camera sensor for selfies and video calls. At the back, the Realme V3 5G packs a square-shaped triple rear camera setup with the combination of a 13-megapixel primary camera + 2-megapixel macro lens + 2-megapixel depth sensor for portraits, along with an LED flash.

Under the hood, the Realme V3 5G draws powers from an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 720 SoC, clubbed with up to 8GB of RAM and 128GB of UFS 2.1 onboard storage. It could be further expanded via microSD card. On the connectivity front, the smartphone includes 5G, 4G LTE, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS and USB Type-C port for charging and data transferring.

The Realme V3 5G is fuelled by a 5,000mAh non-removable battery with 18W fast charging support. It runs Android 10 operating system with Realme UI custom skin on top. The smartphone also has a physical fingerprint scanner placed at the rear panel embedded at the centre for security.

The company has also launched the Realme X7 and X7 Pro with MediaTek Dimensity 800U chipset and MediaTek Dimensity 1000+ SoC respectively, the newly launched smartphones come equipped with AMOLED display with up to 120Hz refresh rate. Both the smartphones are fuelled by a 4,500mAh battery with 65W fast charging technology and run on Realme UI based on Android 10 operating system.
