Nubia is gearing up for the launch of its next gaming flagship smartphone. The company is expected to launch the RedMagic 7 series in the coming weeks. It could include two smartphones, the RedMagic 7 and 7 Pro. There is no official word on the official launch date of the gaming smartphones at the moment. However, the company is confirmed to launch a smartphone with the newly launched Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 and it is most likely to be the RedMagic series smartphone. Ahead of the official confirmation, some key details of the vanilla RedMagic 7 have leaked via the 3C listing. Let’s take a look at the RedMagic 7 specifications, features and other details.
RedMagic 7 3C
It looks like ZTE could soon launch the Nubia RedMagic 7 series. Ahead of the launch, the device is listed on 3C with the model number NX679J. The listing on 3C confirms the charging details of the device. It will come with a whopping fast 165W charging support. It will be an upgrade over the RedMagic 6 series, which came with 120W fast charging support.
The 3C listing does not confirm any details around the device’s battery capacity. The RedMagic 6S Pro features a 4500 mAh battery. We can expect the RedMagic 7 to feature the same battery capacity, if not a larger cell.
The phone was also spotted on the Bluetooth SIG certification website in November. It only confirmed that the phone Bluetooth 5.2 connectivity standard. Other details of the upcoming gaming smartphone from Nubia remain under the wraps. We can expect to feature the latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC with up to 16GB RAM and 256GB/ 512GB of internal storage. The phone could also come with a 165Hz refresh rate display for a smooth gaming experience. The phone’s internals could include enhanced thermal management units for better heat dissipation as well.
Considering that the phone has been spotted on two certification websites already, we can expect more details to surface online in the coming days. The phone might launch later this month or early next year.
