Redmi 10 5G Launched as Company’s Most Affordable 5G Device, Comes With Dimensity 700 SoC, 90Hz Display

Alongside the Redmi Note 11 Pro+ 5G, Xiaomi has also launched an affordable 5G handset – the Redmi 10 5G for the global markets. The latest Redmi 10 series handset is nothing but a rebranded Redmi Note 11E 5G that was announced earlier this month in the Chinese market. The latest Redmi device is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 700 processor and a 5000mAh battery unit. It offers a 50MP primary camera and a 90Hz refresh rate display with Full HD resolution. It comes pre-loaded with MIUI 13. Let us take a closer look at the Redmi 10 5G price, features, and specifications.

Redmi 10 5G Price

The Redmi 10 comes in two configurations – 4GB + 64GB and 4GB + 128GB. The base variant of the device is priced at $199 (approx Rs 15,040). Whereas, the 4GB + 128GB variant of the device costs $229 (approx Rs 17,300).

Redmi 10 5G Specifications and Features

The Redmi 10 offers a 6.58-inch Full HD+ IPS LCD display with a 2408×1080 pixel resolution and a 90Hz refresh rate. The display panel houses the front selfie shooter inside a waterdrop notch and offers a Sunlight display feature.

Powering the device is an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 700 processor that is fabbed on a 7nm process. The system on chip brings with it an integrated Mali G57 GPU, 4GB LPDDR4X RAM, and up to 128GB UFS 2.2 storage. The handset comes preloaded with MIUI 13, based on Android 11.

Moving on to the optics, the handset offers a dual-rear camera setup and an LED flash. The primary sensor on the device is a 50MP resolution sensor which gets accompanied by a 2MP depth sensor. For selfies and video calls, it offers a 5MP shooter at the front.

The smartphone is equipped with a 5000mAh battery unit and supports 18W fast charging. Though, Xiaomi is providing a 22.5W fast charging adapter in the box. The handset has a Type-C charging port, a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, and a 3.5mm audio jack with hi-res audio.

The Redmi handset comes in three colour options – Graphite Gray, Chrome Silver, and Aurora Green. It measures 163.99 x 76.09 x 8.9 mm and weighs 200grams.

The Redmi 10 5G is also expected to make its debut as the POCO M4 5G and the Redmi 10 Prime+ 5G in some markets.
