The Redmi 7 comes with a 6.26-inch, HD+ resolution LCD screen. This screen gets Gorilla Glass protection just like the Redmi Note 7 (review) and Note 7 Pro. Powering the phone is a Snapdragon 632 processor. Imaging on the phone is handled by a 12MP +2MP rear camera setup accompanied by an 8MP selfie shooter. The battery on this phone measures 4000mAh, and it supports 10W fast charging. Other highlights include a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor, 3.5mm headphone jack, an IR blaster and a P2i coating for protection against splashes.
Redmi Y3 To Sport 4000mAh Battery
The Redmi Y3 has been teased to feature a gradient rear panel design. This phone is also expected to feature Gorilla Glass 5 protection along with a P2i splash resistance coating. The chipset on this phone will either be a Snapdragon 632 or a Snapdragon 636. A recent tweet by @RedmiIndia confirms that the phone will feature a 4000mAh battery. Perhaps the most notable feature on this phone is its 32MP ‘Super Selfie’ camera that is housed in a waterdrop style notch. Many expect this to be the Samsung 32-megapixel ISOCELL Bright GD1 sensor which was unveiled late last year. Leaks in the past have confirmed the phone will run Android 9.0 Pie-based MIUI 10. Price for the phone is still a mystery, but it is unlikely for it to be priced over INR 10,000.
