Redmi is gearing up for the launch of the K50 series. The new Redmi flagship smartphones will debut in China on February 16. Xiaomi is expected to unveil multiple phones under the K50 lineup, including the Redmi K50 Gaming. The phone is expected to launch in India as the Poco F4 GT.

Redmi has started dropping new teasers that reveal the key specs of the upcoming gaming smartphone. The upcoming Redmi premium smartphone will come with 120W fast charging support. Redmi K50 Gaming Specifications 

Redmi K50 Gaming Edition will launch in China on February 16. Ahead of the launch, Xiaomi has confirmed the key specs of the phone. For starters, the K50 Gaming will come with a 4700 mAh battery. The smartphone will also support 120W fast charging out of the box. It will have an L-shaped charging cable that will assist players to use the phone while keeping it on charge. Xiaomi claims that the device will be charged completely in 17 minutes.

In addition to the battery, charging tests, Xiaomi has also confirmed the audio features of Redmi K50 Gaming. The device will have symmetrical stereo speakers. It will be tuned in collaboration with JBL. The stereo speaker setup on the K50 Gaming will also come with Dolby Atmos support along with Hi-Res audio certification.

The teasers further reveal that the phone has a hole-punch display. The cutout is at the top centre. It also has a flat screen with minimal bezels around it. The phone has a triple-camera setup on the back with pulsating LED light around it. As per leaks, the phone will have a 64MP main camera sensor, a 13MP ultrawide camera and a 2MP macro lens. For selfies, the phone will have a 16MP front camera sensor.

The phone is rumoured to draw power from a Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC. It will come with up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. The Redmi smartphone will run Android 12-based MIUI 13 in China.
