Xiaomi has launched the Redmi K60 series in China. The company launched three premium phones, namely the K60, K60E and K60 Pro. At the same event, the company also introduced a new member in the Note 12 series. Xiaomi has launched the Redmi Note 12 Pro Speed Edition. The Speed Edition variant of the Note 12 Pro is a tweaked version of the standard model with a different processor and camera.
The Note 12 Pro Speed Edition could launch in global markets as the POCO X5 Pro. Xiaomi has not confirmed any details about the same. Meanwhile, let’s take a look at the Redmi Note 12 Pro Speed Edition’s price, specifications and other details.
Redmi Note 12 Pro Speed Edition Price and Specifications
The Redmi Note 12 Pro Speed Edition has been launched in China with three storage options. The base model has 6GB of RAM. It comes with 128GB of internal storage and is priced at CNY 1699 (roughly Rs 20,200). The phone has also been launched with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. This variant is priced at CNY 1799 (roughly Rs 21,400). The 12GB + 256GB variant is priced at CNY 1999 (roughly Rs 23,800). It has been launched in three colours — Green, Black and Blue.
In terms of specifications, the Note 12 Pro Speed Edition features a Snapdragon 778G SoC. The 6nm SoC is paired with LPDDR4X RAM and UFS 2.2 storage. There is a 5000mAh battery packed inside the phone. It supports 67W fast charging out of the box.
On the back, there is a rectangular camera module. It has a 108MP primary camera sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide camera and a 2MP macro sensor. For selfies, there is a 16MP front camera inside the hole-punch cutout at the top centre.
The device comes with a 6.67-inch Full HD+ OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and 240Hz touch sampling rate. It also offers 900 nits of peak brightness and 1920Hz PWM Dimming. The Note 12 Pro Speed Edition boots Android 13 out of the box. It has a layer of MIUI 14 on top.
