Xiaomi has already confirmed the launch of its highly anticipated Redmi Note 13 Pro+ in India. The company has scheduled the launch of the Redmi Note 13 series on January 4, 2024.
Ahead of its launch, Xiaomi has now confirmed the specifications of the phone through teaser images. The upcoming Redmi Note 13 Pro+ will feature the MediaTek Dimensity 7200 Ultra chipset. It will also be the first device in the Redmi Note Series to get a curved display.
Redmi Note 13 Pro+ Specifications Confirmed by Xiaomi India
Xiaomi has posted a teaser image on Twitter of the Redmi Note 13 Pro+ featuring the Dimensity 7200 Ultra. It is the first global device to feature this new MediaTek chipset. It will be a significant upgrade over the Dimensity 1080 found on the Redmi Note 12 Pro+.
The company further confirmed that the Indian variant of the Redmi Note 13 Pro+ will feature a curved screen. While the teaser does not reveal any additional details, it is safe to consider that Xiaomi has not made any changes in the global variant of the phone as compared to its China variant.
To recall, the Redmi Note 13 Pro+ was launched in China in September 2023 with a 6.67-inch curved AMOLED screen with a 1.5K resolution. The screen has a refresh rate of 120Hz and comes with Gorilla Glass Victus protection.
The triple rear camera setup on the Redmi Note 13 Pro+ is powered by a 200MP primary lens featuring the Samsung HP3 sensor with OIS, an 8MP ultrawide lens, and a 2MP macro shooter. The selfie camera is a 16MP sensor which will be housed by the hole-punch display.
The Redmi Note 13 Pro+ comes with a 5000mAh battery, with support for 120W fast charging via USB-C. It also features an in-display fingerprint scanner and a 3.5mm headphone jack. The entire Redmi Note 13 Series will feature 5G connectivity.
The Redmi Note 13 Pro+ will offer three colour options in India: Fusion Purple, Fusion White, and Fusion Black. The Fusion Purple variant gets a three-colour scheme near the camera module for a unique finish.
Redmi Note 13 Pro+ Expected Price in India
The Redmi Note 13 Pro+ is priced at CNY 1999 in China, which converts to approximately Rs 22,800. Hence, we can expect the device to be priced at around Rs 25,000 in India. The Redmi Note 13 Pro+ will be sold on Amazon, Mi.com, and Xiaomi’s partner stores offline.
